BTEC ND Media Production (Interactive Media) course structure
The BTEC National Diploma in Media Production (Interactive Media) course is an 18 unit qualification. In order to achieve the qualification learners must complete the five core units, the two mandatory specialist units, and eleven other Nationals in Media Production specialist units.

The course focuses on ensuring that students develop a range of Interactive Media skills. The students will use the latest software and hardware to produce web sites, flash animations, posters, cd covers, digital images, digital videos, stop motion animations, digital sound, and animated 3D models and environments. The students will also learn how to produce concept art for computer games.
Successful completion of the BTEC ND Interactive Media course, along with an appropriate grade, will provide access to University courses in Web Design, Animation and Digital Imaging or Computer games.
Students could go into a career in Web Design, New Media, Graphic Design, Animation, Special Effects Production or Computer Games.
